This policy explains how MainStory AI (“MainStory AI,” “we,” “us”) collects and uses information when you visit mainstoryai.com or contact us. MainStory AI is a trade name of Verta Labs LLC.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. If you enter your email address on our site, book a meeting, or email us, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, work email, company, role, and anything you choose to tell us.
• Usage information. When you browse the site, we automatically collect information such as pages viewed, buttons clicked, how far you scroll, referring website, approximate location (derived from IP address), device and browser type, and session recordings of how you interact with the site. Session recordings mask what you type into form fields.
• Cookies and similar technologies. Our analytics tools use cookies and local storage to recognize return visits and group activity into sessions.

How we use information

• To respond to you, schedule and hold meetings, and follow up about MainStory AI.
• To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
• To keep the site secure and working properly.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the site and handle communications. They process information on our behalf:

• Cloudflare for website hosting, security, email forwarding, and privacy-focused traffic statistics.
• PostHog for product analytics and session recordings.
• Calendly for meeting scheduling. Information you enter while booking is also handled under Calendly’s privacy policy.
• Google for email.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

How long we keep information

We keep contact and meeting information for as long as needed to manage our business relationship with you, and analytics data for as long as it is useful for improving the site, unless a longer period is required by law.

Your choices and rights

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and many browsers let you send a “Do Not Track” or privacy signal.
• You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing founder@mainstoryai.com.
• Depending on where you live, including California and the European Economic Area, you may have additional rights under local law. Contact us to exercise them.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
